A place where kids find their people and get creative together. Every month brings a new theme to explore, real projects to dig into, and plenty of room to just be kids.

Homeschool days are available

Monday to Friday, 10am - 2pm

  • Additional open studio hours are available before and after the program.

  • “Homeschool Days” are a drop-off program, but you’re welcome to stay until everyone feels ready.

  • Rate $64/day. Step Up for Students, PEP and UAS direct pay accepted.

Your Questions, Answered

  • Ages 6 and up, with the majority between 7 and 10. Have a preteen or teen? Reach out with your availability and we’ll coordinate with other families to get kids their age together, or bring a friend! Creative teens really enjoy the makerspace.

  • Yes. We’re an approved Step Up provider and accept PEP and UAS direct pay, so you can use your scholarship funds directly with us. New to Step Up or not sure how direct pay works? We’ll guide you through it.

  • Either one. You’re always welcome to stay and watch, especially at first. Fair warning though, once kids get going, most parents quietly realize they’ve got time to themselves.

  • Kids are supervised at all times, the door stays locked during sessions, and the studio has security cameras. Our staff is hand-picked and Level 2 background checked, and we’re registered with DCF and licensed by the City of Margate.

  • No, you book only the days that work for your family, and there’s an hourly option if a full session is more than you need. That said, kids who come regularly get the most out of it, since the friendships are half the magic.

  • A mix of making and socializing. Kids dive into craft projects in the studio, painting, jewelry, woodworking and more, with monthly themes, group discussions, and shared projects woven in. Between projects there’s room to play a board game, grab a book, or just hang out, and that’s where a lot of the friendships happen.

  • A creative studio stocked with tools and materials for hands-on making. Ours is built for kids, so alongside the project tables there are games, books, and music for the in-between moments.

  • $64 per full session, with an hourly option if you’d rather start smaller. Step Up for Students scholarship funds cover it through PEP and UAS direct pay, and multi-day packages are on our Rates page.

  • 1723 N. State Rd. 7 in Margate, right on the Coral Springs and Coconut Creek borders and a short drive from much of Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
