About Us

We’re Inna and Paula, both moms, each with our own experience in non-traditional education, homeschooling, and micro-schools.

Between us, we’ve spent countless hours with kids and agreed that something important was missing.

Many older kids had outgrown or lost interest in local little kids’ spaces, but weren’t quite ready for complete independence. They could connect for hours through screens, but sometimes felt uncertain when face-to-face interactions began, especially in new social situations. What we felt they really needed was a place designed just for them, somewhere to gather, create, and simply be themselves, while naturally developing their social skills.

Something wonderful happens at Konekt when kids work on inspiring projects, next to other kids, in the same space. Friendships form naturally and social skills strengthen through authentic interactions. No overly-structured activities or awkward ice-breakers necessary. Instead, we hear authentic conversations all around, like “How did you make that?” “Can I try?” “What do you wanna do now?” This happens when kids have the space and freedom to be themselves.

What makes us different

We built Konekt around the idea that the “school” age group deserves a space designed specifically for them. Sure, we do have serious making capabilities in our studio, but the real magic happens during the places and times in between. Cozy spots for conversations, games for when hands need a break, books, and karaoke for the adventurous spirits.

It’s the space we wished we’d had growing up, and we believe that every child deserves a place where they truly belong.
