About Us
We’re Inna and Paula, both moms with their own experience in non-traditional education, homeschooling, and micro-schools.
Between us, we’ve spent countless hours with kids and noticed something important was missing.
Many older kids had outgrown or lost interest in local playgrounds but weren’t quite ready for complete independence. They could connect for hours through screens but sometimes felt uncertain when face-to-face interactions began, especially in new social situations. What they really needed was a space designed just for them—somewhere to gather, create, and simply be themselves while naturally developing their social skills, especially for kids 6 and up.
That’s when we realized we needed to create something new. So we created Konekt.
Here’s what we discovered
Something wonderful happens when kids work on projects they’re passionate about in the same space. Friendships form naturally and social skills strengthen through authentic interactions. No overly-structured activities required. No awkward icebreakers. Just genuine conversations that spark everywhere. “How did you make that?” “Can I try?” **“What are you working on next?”**
And just like that, real connections happen. Not because adults orchestrated them, but because kids had the space and freedom to be themselves.
## What makes us different
We built Konekt around something we know to be true: this age group deserves a space designed specifically for them. Yes, we have serious making capabilities here, but the real magic happens in the comfortable spaces in between. Cozy spots for conversations, games for when hands need a break, great snacks to share, and even karaoke for the adventurous spirits.
It’s the space we wished we’d had growing up. And the one we’re excited to share with your kids and our own.
We believe every child deserves a place where they truly belong.
