Modern Home Economics & Life Skills for Kids
Building independence and creativity in a creative studio setting. Serving families in Parkland, Coral Springs, and across Broward.
Our 10-week Home Economics course gives kids ages 7–11 a chance to learn practical, hands-on skills in a relaxed, creative studio environment with a small group of peers.
What we cover
Kitchen Skills & Cooking
Beyond recipes, we focus on kitchen safety, knife skills, and healthy meal preparation.
Sewing and Fabrics
Hands-on textile work, from fabric types to basic repairs and creative sewing projects.
Household Management
Empowering kids to take ownership of their space, from organization to everyday life skills.
All supplies are included.
Schedule
Thursdays: 11am–1pm, starting April 16
Add-on open studio time is available before and after class, 10–11am and 1–2pm at $14/hr.
Tuition
10-week commitment: $50 per class ($500 total)
Drop-in: $60 per class
