Our Creative Writing Club gives kids a relaxed, cozy space to become comfortable with writing. The club meets every Tuesday from 10am to 12pm at our Margate studio, September through May, with a short break in the middle.
Early and extended hours are available throughout the day.
Ages 6 and up
This isn’t school writing and there are no red pens, grades, or formal essays. Instead, we will use creative games and ideas to inspire kids’ creative writing flow. We’ll be reading aloud and chatting about book and stories over some tea and snacks. Here, kids write for the joy of it, share as much or as little as they like, and discover their own voice along the way. Every session stands on its own, so your child can join anytime and jump right in.
Writing flow and confidence, the habit of putting ideas on paper without fear of getting it wrong. Exposure to literature and poetry. Comfort reading their own work aloud to a friendly room. And the quiet magic of a weekly ritual with other kids who like stories.
Class: $40
Come early: Quiet Hour from 9am, for studying, breakfast, or calm crafting
$14 with a class
Stay longer: open studio until 3pm at $14 per hour
